Go to the place that has asked to not be mentioned outside of their web site(wink wink nudge nudge). There's a SBD there but it is not lossless it's MP3. 4-10-1971 Franklin and Marshal College Lancaster PA

Smack down in the muddle of Amish country, this had to be a weird place for them to play back then because it's a trippy place to go to now.

You mean speedingarrow.net? What's wrong with a heads up to that site? I think the no-no is about dl from this site.

If you don't mind mp3 and can get signed up, speedingarrow has
all sorts of shows that used to be posted elsewhere.

Great, my friend, and you? (Though it is waaay too hot).

Right--no direct links. On most "member" sites you can't dl without signing in, no matter what. S.A. has requested no links as it can allow too many folks on the limited bandwidth.

Grate site, though.

Hey I'm fine man. Sorry to hear it's too hot there.
It's a balmy 58 degrees here in NY. No ac required :)

Used to have family on the island--Westbury, Port Washington. One from each clan was an early deadhead. First time I "got" anthem was in Westbury. My oldest cousin I'm 55, he's around 70 now--so he as ahead of the curve) moved to mid queens in the sixties. When I would visit him and the Mrs. here was the ritual. He would roll two doobies--with a machine--after sifting the weed trough a strainer. We would pass one around and then he would put on Live/Dead and we would share the second. After Live/Dead (he didn't play side four) he would put om the first Santanta l.p. Went with his wife to the Fillmore one of the nights they opened for Janis.

AH, the good old days!!!

Sounds like a real cool ritual man.
Ive been here all my life. I'm 45 and have family all
over the island. I'm the only dead head though so
most of my rituals were with friends. My first show was
at the palladium in 77. A friend of mine who is no longer
with us had an extra ticket. And the rest is history!!

My cousin's younger sister, Karen (now 60?) used to take me by the hand to the folk clubs in the village when I was 12 or so. I saw Peter, Paul, and Mary and, at Gerde's Folk City, quite a few folks, including this one nasally guy from Minnesota named Dylan or something like that. He was okay--but I never thought he'd become that good!

It was not a balmy 58 a few days ago - I seem to recall getting some not quite friendly looks from the Mrs. as I refused to drag the AC unit out of the attic and hook it up. It has been a very pleasant summer in NY all in all, so I figure tough out the hot ones and leave the AC in the attic.

My 11 & 7 year old are in a room with just one window . . . we send them to Grandma & Granpa's if it gets too hot - nice having the inlaws just a half mile away. I decided against the AC's after using 3 units one summer bumped my electric (LIPA out here) up by about $200 to $300 a month
